Kamaz’s sales in January–February rise 23% to 4,300 trucks

MOSCOW, Mar 25 (PRIME) – Russian sales of truck producer Kamaz increased by 23% on the year to 4,300 trucks in January–February, the company said in a statement on Monday.

“According to the marketing department of Kamaz, the Russian truck market with a total weight of more than 14 tonnes rose 3% to 8,700 as compared with the same period last year,” Kamaz said.

“Registration of the Kamaz trucks in the period amounted to more than 4,300, which is 23% more than as of the same date last year.”

Kamaz’s market share on the market of trucks with the eight over 14 tonnes rose to 50% from 41% a year ago.
